Beth Mills, MAOM, L.Ac

Beth Mills is a Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist with the NCCAOM,
and has been practicing since graduating from Oregon College of Oriental
Medicine in 2015. Along with starting her own practice in 2016, Beth has worked
both in public health settings giving group treatments in an addiction and
recovery center, and in private room settings within acupuncture & massage
clinics.

Beth likes to include bodywork and other modalities in her treatments especially
Tuina massage, cranial-sacral work, cupping, gua sha and moxabustion. The
treatments are specialized for each patient every time a patient comes into the
clinic. Beth considers time with a patient as sacred time for balancing the body,
mind, and spirit to create harmony and clear any blockages that may be
preventing health and well-being. She also views each series of treatments as a
collaboration, in a sense, between the provider, the needles, herbs, and the
patient.

Beth has a special interest in treating diverse patient populations and focuses on
treating chronic and acute pain, women’s health, digestive disorders, insomnia,
anxiety, depression and PTSD. Of particular interest is in the intersection of
emotional and physical pain and how to loosen the knot so the patient can realize
their fullest self and live their fullest life.

Beth also has a background in fine art and dance and has an MFA from the
University of Oregon. She has had professional shows of sculpture and
printmaking in Portland, Oregon and nationally. This creative and intuitive way of
looking at the world informs the way she practices acupuncture and prescribes
herbs ~ and lives life.

Beth enjoys yoga, meditation, qigong, hiking and gardening. She continues her
studies with the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School with Master Liu He
and Dr. Liu Dong. She loves to share Daoist concepts for better health with
lifestyle and dietary choices that work with the seasons.
